  • "Brand new home with all the amenities. No complaints - everything just as advertised. Kids had a great time playing in the creek and wooded yard. Lake and hiking very close by."

"Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed this house. The views from the house are amazing. The nature around the house is beautiful. The area is very quiet and you can sit outside and listen to the river. We slept with the windows open each night listening to the river. The area in the back of the house is perfect to have a fire or eat outside on the picnic table. The house was clean and the kitchen had plenty of items in it to cook with. There was plenty of space for our family of five. The only downside to this house is the location. It is located about 45 minutes from Durango which had the nearest large grocery store we found. We did some hiking while we were there. There are several trails around or near Lake Vallecito. The lake is beautiful just not much available to do at the lake unless you have your own boat or other equipment. Overall, we loved the house and the property around it. I would recommend this property to those who are looking for a great place to get away and relax.">

  • "We greatly enjoyed our stay here in July 2015. The amenities are excellent, including a large well equipped kitchen and high end laundry. The views of the creek can be enjoyed through the large windows in the living area as well as the kitchen/dining area. The beds are comfortable with quality linens and comforters. All 3 bedrooms have windows that open to the sound of rushing creek water. The back porch is a great place to relax, watching the hummingbirds and chipmunks play."

"Comfortable, beautiful creekside location. It''s a modern home with all the amenities you'd expect but designed to feel like a log cabin. Comfortable beds, beautiful views and the sound of a rushing creek make it a destination for relaxation.">

  • "Very nice cabin. Spectacular view from dining room of the creek. We had three young boys with us on our trip. They loved the creek that ran out back. The children stayed downstairs in the large bedroom with their own bathroom. The adults stayed upstairs and shared a bathroom. Worked out well. The creek rushing by outside made for a relaxing and peaceful sleep with the window open. Downside: Bring a broom and dustpan if you have children running in and out from the creek. There was only a vacuum cleaner and swiffer with no cloths for cleaning the floor (hardwood in living area). It was very gritty after the first day. Not very close time wise to Durango."
